About the event
Utilizing Queer Ecology, sensory experience, and creative thought processes together to open a unique and diversified window onto Ojai's native flora.
Monday July 20th 6:00-8:00pm We will be meeting at the River View Trailhead at the Ventura River Preserve. *Please note that this hike will have one steep incline at the very beginning of the walk; but the rest of the trail is fairly flat.
What to Expect:
✨A slow meandering walk with lots of stops along the way to talk about and experience the individual plants around us. Usually no more than a mile in total distance.
✨Up close, personalized education about the plants currently growing, blooming, or emerging along the trail. Every walk is unique, in that every month, the climate and ecosystem shift through the seasons and there are new and exciting things to see and learn.
✨Moments for pause to explore deeper inquiry together.
