About the event
This walk is specifically for the LGBTQIA+ and questioning community; if you are an ally and would like to join me on a sensory plant walk, please check out my "Whispers of the Wild" events.
Rooted in the belief that nature flourishes through complexity and difference, this walk invites us to see the chaparral not just as a backdrop, but as a living web of relationships — resilient, expressive, and full of story. Along the way, we’ll discuss the wisdom of things like fire-following blooms, the queerness of plant reproduction, and how the land can inspire new ways of belonging and being. This walk is intended to be a gentle meandering walk with plenty of stops and lots of time to soak in the beauty around us.
